Ever heard of bead curtains as a babies soother of choice? Some babies like to run their fingers through Mommy’s hair, or twirl their own. Some stick their fingers in their belly buttons or perhaps their ears. I know of babies who give themselves “chills” to fall asleep. But bead curtains? So apparently this babies crib was situated next to a beaded curtain wall hanging (forget the choking hazard momentarily) and became accustomed to spinning the beads until his sleepiness overcame him. Now he’s addicted, and his parents cannot seem to get him to fall asleep any other way. They spoke to baby specialists, sleep specialists, everything. Someone finally suggested they give him a beaded bracelet to wear their hoping he’ll spin those beads, instead.
